Sevilla has 1,000 hectares dedicated to green areas, or 14 square meters per inhabitant. That makes it one of the cities with a greater presence of landscaped spaces. On the occasion of the commemoration in 2019-2022 of the V centenary of the First Round the World Tour undertaken by Ferdinand Magellan from Seville, the city has wanted to pay tribute to the navigator with this new green space. The Fernando de Magellan Park is located next to the Guadalquivir River, the Navigation Pavilion, the Seville Tower and the Caixa Forum.

A few meters from the Prado, you can walk along the Paseo de Catalina de Ribera, next to the wall of the Alcázar, and reach the Jardines de Murillo, where you will be amazed by its colossal centenary trees.
