It has a high level of Medium Distance train traffic as it is served by lines 65, which connects Seville with Cadiz, and 67, which connects Seville with Málaga. It forms part of lines C-1, C-4 and C-5 of the Seville Cercanías network. The fact that it belongs to three lines in the network generates a high frequency of trains. The C-1 line has the highest frequency with trains every 20-30 minutes, while the C-4 and C-5 lines run trains every 30-60 minutes. For fares purposes the station is located in zone 1.

It is connected to the Metro and bus lines 22, 25, 26, 28, 29, 38, 52, B4, C1, C2, EA, LE, LN, A4, N29 and T1.
