The exhibition space is a unique space for the exhibition.
The exhibition space is an important reference center to discover the magnificence of Seville, in its days of glory, at the time of the great maritime expeditions, through the greatest historical feat that the city has done: the «First Around the World» (1519-1522).
The visitor will be able to know the history of the city.
The visitor will be able to learn about the first circumnavigation of the planet, carried out by captains Magellan and Elcano, narrated by the voice of its main ship: the Nao Victoria, which becomes, in this way, the narrator of its history: From its birth, through its construction and the preparations for the expedition, to arrive, then, at length, at the immensity of the voyage made, as well as the events through which its crew went through, in addition to the dangers they faced and the obvious harshness of life on board.
The tour culminates in a visit to the ship’s quarters.
The visit culminates aboard the Nao Victoria 500: an imposing life-size replica of the legendary galleon, docked on the Guadalquivir River, which will transport visitors through the daily sensations and life experiences of the sailors, who were the front-line protagonists of this incredible adventure.
A family program, accompanying the visitors through the history of the ship.
A family program, accompanied by an extensive program of activities, such as guided and dramatized tours, concerts and events, which allows you to immerse yourself in the glorious maritime history of Seville and can be consulted on its website.
