Naturaleza encendida: Corrientes. A big success that will return in October
The last performance, for now, of the show “Naturaleza encendida: Corrientes” (Lights in Nature: Currents) took place on the 30th of April. A sensorial experience in the Alcázar of Seville where people were able to enjoy the innovative project conceived to celebrate the historical, architectural, botanical and cultural patrimony of this emblematic space. The performance was composed of 21 light interventions that combined video-screenings, video mapping, LED lightings and laser. This created a surprising artistic experience that, although it is coming to an end for now, it will light up Seville in October.
Una experiencia mágica
“Naturaleza encendida: Corrientes” has stood out in this city in a spectacular way. This sensorial experience, with more than 150,000 visitors, has won locals and tourists’ hearts. According to Letsgo producer, seven out of every ten visitors were Sevillians, while the remaining 30% were enjoying a few days in the city when they attended the performance. The majority of the tourists were nationals, but it is important to point out that 10% of the visitors were foreigners.
Therefore, it has become a perfect event for all the public by showing a different face of the Alcázar for those who have already visited its walls, but also for those who discovered it for the first time. The fact that the event can only be attended in the evening makes this a very attractive and special leisure activity. This completes the cultural offer of the city, since Seville is as interesting to be visited in the day as in the night.
Taking into consideration the evident success, it is hoped that “Naturaleza Encendida” returns to illuminate Seville in October. A new concept of “Corrientes” will be introduced in such a way that those who want to repeat can discover a totally different story. During the next weeks, the town hall will communicate more details about the event that aspires to revalidate the last edition success.
