This tower is located in Santa Clara’s Convent. This place is venue of the Biennial of Flamenco. An important festival that can be and we should classify as one of the city's most important events. It is a stunning festival where the most important artists in the art of singing, playing and dancing can be admired.

The Tower of Don Fadrique stands within its walls. It is just one of many Sevillian buildings with its own legend.

Don Fadrique, son of Fernando III, ordered to build it to have loving encounters with his stepmother, Lady Juana. He said it would be to strengthen security in the city, although everyone knew that it was just an excuse to meet his father's widow.

Nobody said anything about it, until Alfonso X the Wise One, brother of D. Fadrique, arrived in the city. Due to the pressure of the clergy and the nobility, he accused him of Royal Offense.
